Terms of sale

Translation for information only. This page is an English translation of a document governed by French law. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Scope. This is a showcase site: it offers no online sales, no ordering and no remote payment. These terms govern sales made directly in La Belle Liégeoise shops, as well as the use of this site.
1. Purpose
These general terms set out the conditions of sale of La Belle Liégeoise products — sweet and savoury Liège waffles, creations and artisan ice cream — in its shops, corners, kiosks, food trucks and mobile counters.
The seller is LA BELLE LIEGEOISE, a French EURL with share capital of €2,500.00, registered with the Toulouse Trade and Companies Register under number 810 403 683, with its registered office at 14 rue des Changes, 31000 Toulouse, France.
Any order placed in a shop implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Products
Products are made by hand and baked to order. The photographs, recipe descriptions and flavour lists published on this site are given for guidance and have no contractual value: availability varies by location and by season.
Allergens and consumer information
Our products contain or may contain allergens, in particular gluten, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soya, milk and sesame. Our preparations are made in workshops and shops where these allergens are handled: a risk of cross-contamination cannot be excluded.
The list of ingredients and allergens for each product is available on request in the shop. Anyone with an allergy or intolerance is invited to ask our staff before buying.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in euros, inclusive of all taxes, in each shop. They exclude special services and may vary from one location to another, in particular at event sites. No prices are given on this site.
La Belle Liégeoise reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products are charged at the rate in force at the time of the order.
4. Ordering and payment
Orders are placed and paid for directly in the shop. Accepted means of payment are cash, bank card and contactless payment.
A receipt is given to every customer. An invoice can be issued on request.
5. Right of withdrawal
The fourteen-day right of withdrawal provided for by the French Consumer Code applies to contracts concluded at a distance or away from business premises. Purchases made directly in a shop are not subject to it.
Furthermore, under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, this right does not apply to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, nor to goods made to the consumer's specifications — which is the case for our products, prepared to order.
6. Complaints
Any complaint may be addressed to the shop concerned, or to La Belle Liégeoise, 14 rue des Changes, 31000 Toulouse, France — contact@labelleliegeoise.com.
7. Franchise applications
Submitting an application through the Become a franchisee page constitutes neither an order, nor a sale, nor a contractual commitment by either party. The figures and entry conditions published on that page are given for information. Any franchise relationship is the subject of a separate contract, preceded by the pre-contractual disclosure document required by French law.
8. Intellectual property
The La Belle Liégeoise trade mark, its logo and all the elements published on this site remain the exclusive property of the brand. See the legal notice.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an amicable settlement or mediation has failed, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
