Cookies and audience measurement

This site sets no cookies on your device. It uses neither Google Analytics nor any other statistics tool, nor any advertising tracking pixel. It writes nothing to your browser's local storage.

That is why no consent banner is shown to you: in the absence of any tracker, consent is not required.

Data you send us

Contact form

When you submit the form, the information you entered — name, email address and message — is sent to our server, which immediately composes an email to contact@labelleliegeoise.com. No database is built: the server does not keep your message, it simply passes it on. Your address is placed in the "Reply-To" field so that our answer reaches you directly.

Franchise application form

The form on the Become a franchisee page works in the same way, sending to franchise@labelleliegeoise.com. It transmits the surname, first name, email address, telephone number, town you have in mind, personal investment and project description you entered.

Protection against automated submissions

To keep out advertising messages sent by automated systems, the server scores each submission against a set of technical signals. When a submission is rejected, a line is written to the server's technical log: it contains the date, the score, the signals detected and the originating IP address. These logs are kept by our host and purged automatically. They serve only to tune the filter and are not cross-referenced with any other information.

What we do with it

• Purpose: to answer your enquiry, or to consider your franchise application.
• Legal basis: your own voluntary approach, which rests on your consent and, for an application, on pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
• Recipients: only those people at La Belle Liégeoise responsible for handling your enquiry. Your data is never sold, transferred or passed to third parties for commercial purposes. It passes technically through the servers of OVH SAS, our host, which acts as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR and whose servers are located in France.
• Retention period: two years from our last exchange, whether a contact enquiry or an unsuccessful application, in line with the recommendation of the CNIL, the French data protection authority. After that period, messages are deleted from our mailboxes.

Third-party services used by the site

Some pages call on resources hosted by third parties. Those third parties then receive your IP address, along with the technical information that any browser sends with a request. They apply their own privacy policies.

• "Find us" page: the mapping libraries and the base map are loaded from unpkg.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net. Without them the map does not appear, but the list of shops remains entirely readable.
• "Become a franchisee" page: the presentation video is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's no-cookie mode. No cookie is set unless you start playback.

Links to our social networks and to Google Maps are plain links: nothing is transmitted unless you click.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, as well as the right to object to and to restrict its processing.

If, having contacted us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL — www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS: exchanges between your browser and the server are encrypted. The messages you send us are received in our professional mailboxes and are accessible only to authorised people.

This policy may change, in particular if the site comes to include new services. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
